Journalist Dan Lawton asked me to create a header for a blog he contributes to – ‘The Cutting Edge,’ the official blog of online knife retailer Knife Depot. Take a look at the crest I created the blog.
Art glass wholesalers Fusion Z in Healdsburg, Ca, contracted me to design and implement their new online presence. They wanted to emphasize the beauty of the glass itself without creating other distracting design elements. The result is a simple, nuanced appearance that is user-friendly and pleasing to browse through. Click the screen shot below to view the final result.

After posting my Portland Steelheads concept on Puckdrawn, a fellow submitter pointed me to a freelance job of a men’s senior league hockey team looking to have some crests designed for their uniforms – also going by the nickname ‘Steelheads’. See the results of this commission below – main logo and shoulder crest, respectively.
Here’s another hockey concept I made for Puckdrawn. I’m pretty happy with it. I may go back and change the color scheme and try to add a third mark that reuses the trout. Stay tuned for that. Also, I’m excited to announce that my new portfolio website is nearly completed and will be unveiled in the near future.

This July 17th, in Healdsburg, California, the annual Healdsburg Harvest Century Bicycle Tour will take place through the scenic Sonoma County vineyard roads. It is considered one the “7 Greatest Rides on Earth” according to Bicycle Magazine. The logo being used to advertise the event this year is a creation of my own, selected by the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce a few months back. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to a design of my own in the eyes of the public, even if it’s only for a short weekend. Look for the design to be featured on t-shirts, bicycle jerseys, and other printed materials. See the designs below.
